Abstract: In view of inefficiency of manual pressing ball craft, the labor intensity being big and being easy to miss balls about deep groove ball bearings with ball gap, a kind of automatic assembly balls machine was developed to realize the function of automatic filling balls and automatic moving products, improve the production efficiency, degree of automation and reliability, reduce the labor intensity of the workers.

1. Preface

There are 200 and 300 series of deep groove ball bearings with ball loading notch, i.e. single row and double row, accompanied by a variety of structural deformation, such as open or closed (with dust cover or sealing ring) structure. There is a ball loading notch on the inner ring and outer ring respectively, as shown in figure 1. More and larger balls than standard deep groove ball bearings are allowed. Compared with the standard bearing of the same type, the single row deep groove ball bearing with ball port has large radial bearing capacity and low speed; It can also be divided into two types: with retainer or without retainer. The design of double row deep groove ball bearing with ball loading notch echoes that of single row. This kind of bearing has continuous alternating stress contact between the ball and the raceway. In addition to bearing radial load, it can also bear two-way axial load.

Deep groove ball bearing with ball notch is widely used in automobile gearbox and other fields. It can not only limit the axial displacement in a limited space, but also bear a large radial load with a smaller bearing under the condition of small axial displacement.

 

2. Introduction to assembly process of deep groove ball bearing with ball loading notch

2.1 Selection method

The deep groove ball bearing with ball loading notch is also assembled in an optional way. When matching, it is convenient to load the ball from the notch. Generally, the sleeve with the maximum limit value of the clearance group is used. It is very inconvenient to remove the sleeve after this kind of bearing is full of balls. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the radial clearance is qualified before the ball is full.

 

2.2 Free loading of steel balls within the ball filling angle

During the assembly of this kind of bearing, multiple steel balls can be installed freely according to the range of the best ball filling angle of 186 ± 3 °, and the other steel balls should be installed from the ball loading gap. In order to prevent the steel ball from falling out, in the design, the radius of curvature of the inner and outer ring notches of the bearing is equal to or greater than the radius of curvature of the steel ball, but the minimum distance between the inner and outer notches is less than the diameter of the steel ball, and there is a certain amount of lock at the junction of the ball loading notch and the raceway. Therefore, it is not easy for the steel ball to enter the bearing raceway when loading the ball with the ball loading notch.

 

2.3 Use the ball loading gap to install other steel balls

The steel ball outside the ball filling angle needs to be loaded with the ball loading notch. During ball loading, the notch of the inner and outer rings should be aligned, and the notch on the inner and outer rings should be supported through elastic deformation. After the notch size is slightly increased, the steel ball can smoothly fall into the raceway of the bearing.

 

3. Hw-7000 bearing automatic ball loader

The deep groove ball bearing with ball loading notch originally adopted the pure manual ball pressing process, which has the advantages of low production efficiency, high labor intensity and easy ball leakage. In order to solve the above problems, an automatic ball loading machine is developed, which realizes the functions of automatic ball loading and automatic blanking, improves the production efficiency, automation degree and reliability, and reduces the labor intensity of workers.

 

Hw-7000 bearing automatic ball loading machine is an automatic equipment for ball loading of this type of rolling bearing. It is divided into ten parts: conveyor, feeding device, clamping device, outer ring positioning device, inner ring positioning device, ball feeding device, stamping device, discharge device, blanking device and discharge device. The appearance of the equipment is shown in Figure 2.

3.1 Working principle

The working principle of hw-7000 bearing automatic ball loader is as follows (take 370309y product as an example).

 

(1) Manual feeding. Manually put 7 steel balls into the inner and outer rings and put them on the conveyor belt. At this time, the inner and outer rings are not concentric. The conveyor belt sends the bearing with some steel balls to the feeding device, and then the feeding cylinder drives the push block to automatically feed.

 

(2) Automatic clamping. When the bearing reaches the specified position, the connecting rod is driven by the clamping cylinder, and the bearing is clamped by the sealing ring on the connecting rod and the linear optical axis driven by two needle cylinders.

 

(3) Automatic detection. The sensor detects the gap between the inner and outer rings to align the ball placing gap of the inner and outer rings, which is convenient for bearing ball loading.

 

(4) Automatic ball delivery. The ball feeding cylinder of the ball feeding device drives the ball feeding mechanism to automatically feed the steel ball, so that the steel ball rolls to the alignment of the gap of the inner and outer rings one by one.

 

(5) Automatic ball loading. The stamping rod of the stamping device is driven by the main ram cylinder to automatically load the ball.

 

(6) Automatic paddle. When the steel ball is placed, the ball shifting cylinder of the stamping device drives the ball shifting plate to automatically shift the ball, and repeat the ball placing and shifting four times, so as to complete the ball loading of a bearing.

 

(7) Automatic release. After the ball loading is completed, the cylinder returns to the initial state and loosen the bearing.

 

(8) Automatic discharge. After the cylinder is loosened, the discharge cylinder of the discharge device drives the push block to push the bearing to the discharge plate, and the material is discharged through the lower bottom plate of the discharge plate under the action of its own gravity.

 

(9) Automatic discharge. The bearing enters the discharge seat through the blanking plate, and the discharge cylinder drives the push plate to push the installed bearing to the heavy block one by one.

 

(10) Manual rod cutting. When 18 bearings are arranged in the discharge channel, manually string the rod to take out the bearings.

 

(11) When it is necessary to replace the steel ball in the storage tank, manually lift the material barrel seat upward until the bottom surface of the ball blocking plate is flush with the upper edge of the goal tube, push the ball blocking plate towards the goal tube until the hole of the material barrel seat is completely blocked, and remove the storage tank, so as to facilitate the replacement of the steel ball.

 

4. Conclusion

The hw-7000 bearing automatic ball loading machine is used to realize the batch continuous ball loading production. The company has reached the production capacity of more than 100000 sets of 370309 products, which reduces the labor intensity of workers, improves the assembly efficiency and automation degree of this kind of bearing, ensures the clamping injury of raceway and steel ball caused by the ball filling process of this kind of bearing to the greatest extent, and realizes the transformation and progress from manual assembly to automatic assembly.
